Well another year has gone by and it’s time for another 1,150 mile sled race across Alaska.  Every year we like to watch and follow along the best we can in this very tough race.  I’m sure I will be updating as the race progresses but tomorrow is the cerimonail start of the race in Anchorage.  The restart will take place on March 2nd.

So for valentines day I order a nice and colorful Iris and Tulip bouquet for my wife.  On Valentines day she calls and says they are beautiful.  When I get home and walk in the door I see a dozen red roses, of which one of them is almost dead already.  So I explain to her that is not what I ordered. 

I call customer service and explain the issue and they will only refund me $14.  Hmm  I spent over $40.  So I didn’t think that was good enough as 2-3 roses were now dead 2 days later.  So I write into their customer service department about the entire experience.  They write back and pretty much say oops we are sorry.

Not good enough, so I follow up by saying the roses are now all dead (before 7 days) and your customer service is horrible, so I ask for a refund and offer to ship the dead flowers back to them.  You know what they said…….   I’m sorry we have put a 20% credit on your next purchase..  Oh Great..  That helps out a lot cause I will NOT be buying from them again ever..!!!

Be Aware of what you order and what you get using this company.

So Sunday was for the most part interesting and short.  Just had to apply the “Concepts” of what we needed to learn to move to the ‘D’ course.  And uh yeah I passed.  (Don’t tell anyone that you can’t fail this one as long as you show up for the 3 days)

So today after a very long and boring day at my coaches clinic I learned a new word..  “Understand?”

You might ask why I have learned this new word, well I have an answer for you.  I think after every sentenence that was told to us today was followed by Understand?  or “Understand, Got it?”  It was so much fun…  Not really, however I did pick up a few new things to work on in practices..

Tomorrow it is only supposed to be for 2-2.5 hours so we will see if he actually keeps to his word, unlike today…

So tonight we are doing part 1 of 3 of the ‘E’ license for Coaching competitive soccer.
Well they handed some things out tonight and we actually read word for word through the first 25 pages I’m guessing.   Come on Seriously?

Yep sure had to, we all took turns like we were back in school.  lol 

Hopefully tomorrow out in the field will be more fun and exciting.

Last weekend we volunteered for Passion DFW.  Passion is a conference to see spiritul awakening in college campuses across this nation. 

So Friday night and ALL DAY Saturday we served where we were needed at the conference.  A few times we were able to go in and listen to parts of the talks and 2 of the best speakers I think I have ever heard.  Louie Giglio and Frances Chan.  Simply amazing and they speak the up front powerful truth and get their point across.  I wish I could have listened to it all, but I was there mainly to serve..  That’s why we went…

Chris Tomlin and David Crowder band led worship through out Friday night and Saturday.  I wish I had the funds to make the trip tonight to DC for this weekends conference so I can help out again.  It was a blast, although tiring.  I hope they do well with DSN (Do Something Now) this weekend.
