Detroit's been an awesome team this year, but they've been in a bit of transition for a few years following the retirement of Stevie Y. It's aweomse to see them back on top with everyone contributing and Osgood in goal. Everything in sports is cyclical...the Stars will be back on top one day as well. I never liked going up to someone's door to try and get them to buy something. And it was always junk food, too. I applaud you for thinking of something to sell that isn't sugar-laden! And so are big garage/rummage sales to raise money. People buy candy bars just because they are cheap. I'm sure you could come up with a better idea. My rugby team was never very successful in the fundraising department. We thought about doing a mud wrestling tournament and charging people to come watch. But we never did.
