Mission Trip back home

My wife and the entire group got back into town last Friday (couple days ago) after being in Xalapa, Mexico for 1 week.  There are plenty of stories I have heard about how wonderful this trip was and hopefully made an impact for the church they went down to help.  The group (about 40 including Next, and 2 other churches) talked with roughly 250 people in Xalapa and Coatepec, with 188 of those accepting Christ into their lives.  That is just Awesome!!!

I wanted to share a few pictures that my wife took of the area last week:

    We’ve entered the Mexican border by mistake, and it took way longer to get out.

    Aren’t they mostly Catholic?

    I’ve never been in mainland Mexico, just in Tulum and Cozumel. I’ve been on a couple of mission trips to La Vega, Dominican Republic, and one to Oradea, Romania. Seeing the world at a young age changes your perspective of life. You begin to appreciate what you have in the U.S. and Canada.

    @Michael, yes mostly..
    @SizzlingPopcorn, I wish I went, but they all had a great time. I bet the Dominican Republic and Romania were interesting mission trips.

    God Bless your wife and the others that went on the missions trip. And what wonderful news about the number of people accepting Jesus! A big AMEN to that :)

    @Connie thanks for the comment

    @Michael - No not Catholic. Our Church went down there to help a Christian Pastor develop and build a second location by taking to others and building relationships for this church.
