I was talking with a friend/co-worker the other day about security systems, etc.  It turned out to be a good and lengthy discussion about it.  I guess what got us on the topic is all the work we have recently did getting out work place secure.  In the last few months we have installed 20 some regular cameras around various places inside and out started to use these systems to record activity, etc.   So we started talking about home systems and what there is to have at the home.  And there is quite a bit of options.   Of course there are the traditional cameras, like we just talked about.  There are various alarm systems out these days, including, wireless alarms.  And one can also get a really big and loud dog too.  Or a combination of all of them.  I also cannot forget the smoke detectors and carbon monoxide sensors.  I think those are a must.
