Driving Crazy

Some days around here I have to wonder how people got their drivers license. People tend to float, speed, drive erratic, etc. It’s pretty crazy. Now, some days traffic is nice and just flows along without any issues. Now Fridays are something else all together. Fridays can either be mellow or look like something was just unleashed from hell or somewhere in between.

In fact just the other day on the morning commute some guy just about side swiped me without even looking. Maybe with all the craziness I should look into some cheap life insurance so my family is protected in case one day someone takes me out. lol :) A good point to bring up is the Fort Worth Police chase last night that nbc5 happen to cover watching this guy rip up and down residential neighborhoods at least at 60 mph. Thank goodness no one got hurt on that chase.

Now I’m sure this could differ from city to city, but in all seriousness there are times I wonder why everyone is in such a hurry that they have to do 75+ and weave in and out of everyone.

Late night munchies turn ugly

OK so your up late and want to get a bite to eat already.. So you drive down or to your local Taco Bell, and decide yep TB it is and you get in the drive through lane.. Right?

So while your deciding what you want the car in front you of is taking way too long, so what do you do? Your hungry right and don’t want to wait? Check out what this person decided to do last night…

blurb:
Shortly after midnight, a couple in a Jeep Cherokee were waiting behind the teens at the restaurant near the 3200 block of Old Mill Road. “The suspect gets a little upset at the amount of time it’s taking to make the order in the drive-through,” Dallas police Lt. Sally Lannom said. “So they start honking horns at each other.”

The driver of the Jeep followed the teens across the street where they had parked to eat, police said. At some point, the Jeep struck the teens’ pickup, and people from both vehicles got out and began to fight.

Police said the Jeep’s driver, who is about 19 years old, pulled out a knife and stabbed 17-year-old Keesean Walker in the chest and 18-year-old Dionta Williams in the arm.

I’m not sure about you, but when I get impatient waiting for fast food, I usually don’t think about stabbing the person.

Funeral and a Family

Here is a funny story that I have to mention some parts of.  A good friend of mine has a extremely distant family and recently he learned that his cousin had died from a drug overdose.  So he decided to head up to the funeral as it was his family but like I said very distant.  So we will skip the small things and move along to the funeral.  They had decided to have her cremated but wanted to have a service for her.  As they get to the gather place (not sure where they had it) my friend walks in and is floored by what happens next.

The husband of the deceased is wearing ragged jeans, a baseball hat and a t-shirt with a marijuana leaf on it.. (hmm how ironic, lets wear a marijuana shirt to a funeral of your wife who died from drug overdose, nice).  Then the daughter was carrying a cardboard box up to the front of this place and you hear a voice from the back of the room, “Ashley take your mom out of the god damn box”

Wow I’m surprised my friend made it through this one.  I would have been cracking up the entire time.  And you may not laugh like we did when we heard this in person, but I can only imagine being in this scenario listening to the talking and wearing drug related items to a drug overdose.
