The title says it all. Despite being tired and not wanting to get out of bed, the morning is beautiful. After I finally got ready and left the house 5 minutes past when I really wanted to, I decided to stop and get a smoothie (they have a place right by the house). When I walked out of the smoothie shop I saw a beautiful sunrise. Of course since I take the camera everywhere I go (well almost everywhere) I started to take some shots of the sunrise.
I really wish I would have had more time to just sit and watch the morning transformation from dark to light. God really does miraculous things with nature. I like to cherish moments like these and like I said, it would have been nice to just sit, watch and take it all in.
While watching Fox News this morning to catch up on the hurricane news, we saw a commercial which we had to basically rewind and watch again. (thanks to our dvr satellite)
It’s a commercial about God’s Love in a cartoon style format. I think what is most interesting that this commercial is from a major business in our country. And I applaud them for this commercial.
Below is the video from their site. The chairman talks briefly and then they show the commercial. Go check it out.
My wife and about 13 others from our church are leaving tomorrow for a 1 week church planting mission trip to Xalapa. Mexico. They are going with next worldwide, and last night they had there last minute meeting and prayer time. Saturday morning they have to be at the airport at 4:30am, yes you read that right, 4:30 in the MORNING. And guess who gets to take a few of them to the airport, yes me..!! he he (it doesn’t bother me)
They have a quick flight to Mexico City and then a 4 hour layover.. (that should be fun, not!) and then a quick hop (less than 1 hour) to there destination. You know what would be awesome for them. If they had a private jet charter and it took them on a direct non-stop flight. Yeah that would be really awesome.
Anyways I really hope and pray that the mission trip will be a success and the other church as well as Next Worldwide and our church all come back safe and healthy.
