I have been watching 4 video streams of Houston News channels today and they are covering the coast area and talking with people and they have been reporting flooding and storm surge already and the eye of the hurricane still isn’t close to landfall.  I think we are still 12 hours away from that.  I think a lot of homes will be destroyed.  So hence the title of my post, I can’t believe what some people think.  Some people that they have interviewed on TV had decided to just stay and ride out the storm.  I guess they don’t care that forecasters keep warning people that if they don’t leave it could be ‘Certain Death’  I don’t know about you but after watching this storm and all the reports about it, I would leave..  This storm is massive.  In fact the track it’s taken we are going to see above rainfall averages for our area and sustained winds to 50mph for several hours.  In fact they just issued a flash flood watch for the Dallas, Fort Worth area.

I know this storm would be FUN to watch, but not at the chance of losing your life over it.   I hope they really  decide to leave.  They still have a couple hours to get out.

Since I couldn’t watch this game live, I had it recorded and last night in a 15 minute span I watched the game, so pretty much just a recap :).  I really think Dallas could have came away with a win on this one.  I am actually impressed with the goals that Dallas made too, and the 2 Cooper had, were fantastic.  I think it would have been tougher though if Houston’s GK would not have gotten hurt and stayed in the whole game.

So that is two draws to start off the season.  But better yet IMO they did not lose to the defending champs in Houston.
