Most of the office complete but a few things that are still left.  I guess its been 1 week now since we moved back in.  So far I like it, but I think I would have done a few things different if I had to do it over, that’s for sure.

OK so they got to work on the office today.  It’s about 1/2 way done.  They say we should be able to move into it tomorrow.  I will snap some shots of it after we get everything installed and hooked up.

Happy?  Yeah for the most part, somethings I wish were different already, but who am I to complain.

The office is about 1/2 packed up now and I have 1 of my 2 computers already in another location for the next 2 days.  One of the guys came in today and said it will take them 1.5 days to get it all done.  If they were not going to paint then it would probably be just one day.

Wednesday I’m supposed to be getting my office at work re-done.  When I say re-done, it’s actually going to be re-done.

About 1-2 weeks ago the guy (Jordan) who is helping out (Phones and Desktop support while I focus more on servers and back him up) moved into my office due to space issues out on the floor (we just keep hiring people).  So right now it’s a little crowded with 3 full size desks.  Tomorrow we need to start moving things out to get ready for the re-do.

First they are going to slap some paint on the walls just cause it really needs a new coat.  Then they are installing some custom desks and matching shelves and a custom whiteboard.  Yeah I’m pretty excited.  Should give me some more space and for it to be a little better organized.

Tomorrow I will take a picture of the before shot and will take one after they are done.

I got home last night and was looking around the office and boy it’s a mess. I think I really need to get some work done in there. Papers are all over the place and nothing is really filed. Well it’s filed Scott’s way, lol

So like I usually do I was sitting back in my chair pretending to do some work and I was thinking how cool it would be to add some new light fixtures. Maybe it would make it a more dynamic working area?

At work my office has this huge glowing fluorescent light right above my head and it gets tiring having that light beat down on you all day long. So wouldn’t it be nice to come home to a nice home office with ambient lighting? Maybe have a light shine on my Sooners Office gear. I think it would be good.
