So today I was on a mission. “To get out of the house” hahaha.. Actually I had an agenda. Goto Fry’s, Academy Sports, Game Stop if needed, then a haircut and then to a good friends house to help him do some web design work.
So my first stop is always the worst. And what I mean by that is FRY’s. It’s my candy store really…. So my main focus was to get 2 new laptop mice since one of ours died and the other one, well might as well.. Then I checked on the computer games and started looking at WoW (World of Warcraft) .. not sure what I was thinking. So I left with just two mice. Next stop, Academy Sports. While looking for some sandals, work called with a server down so while trying to check out some sandals, I had to help get the server running. I like Academy as they have such a HUGE assortment of foot wear although I didn’t see any UGG Australia wear. So after finding something that might work, and ran over and grabbed some new soccer shorts and I was out the door.
So, Game Stop was next and I was out of luck. Haircut yep same deal. Came home grabbed the laptop, headed to another Game Stop and snagged WoW and the 1st Expansion. Then off to my friends house for a few hours and finally got my hair cut after that on the way home. WOW.. Seemed like I was busy all day today.
Yep you heard that one right. I need to go shopping and I really despise it. Especially malls. Although they have tons of shops to choose from. For example, shoe stores, jewelry, music, clothes, sexy lingerie, clocks, books, or movie theater etc. etc. So you can pretty much find anything you looking for. However, the crowds always seem to be BIG and BOLD. Of course near a holiday there are more people. I just don’t ever think you can avoid that.
Back to the subject. I really need to go out and buy some dress clothes. A couple shirts and maybe a couple pair of pants, socks and maybe some comfy dress shoes. I guess I should do this to look more professional at work. Plus (I cannot believe I’m going to say this) but I’m kind of tired of wearing jeans all the time. Speaking of jeans, I need a new pair of those to. Oh and some new sandals before summer gets here. Well I guess time will tell if I actually get out and make it a store.
There are times when I love going grocery shopping and then there are times it’s not really fun! I probably should classify that as a drag, boring or potential time waster. But it’s a necessary thing to do. We all need groceries, toiletries, food, etc. unless you are extremely wealthy and can afford someone to do the shopping for you. I for one am not that wealthy. What I’m trying to say is that at times I love to shop.
Part of the reason I like to shop is that most grocery stores keep the same general layout. Some change little things but for the most part they stay the same, which makes it easier to memorize where everything is. Our grocery store is this way. The only thing that has changed in the last 2 years is that they removed the photo area. (Guess it wasn’t making money) For instance our grocery store. You walk in the right side (the best side) and you have Soaps and makeup, medicines, acne creams, vitamins, toilet paper, tooth brushes, then along the back and far side you have milk, eggs, meats and cheeses then you get to the veggies. Then all of the other boxed goods are all on the inside aisles. (I’m sure you can figure out whats left with me itemizing it
) This makes it fun as I know where almost “everything” is.
Do you like to go grocery shopping?
Although I didn’t do a whole lot of work this week, it still seemed like a really long week and I’m glad it’s Friday.
So it’s strangely boring here tonight. Not much going on except the TV. Wife is in Oklahoma for the weekend and I’m sitting here thinking about the next sentence I’m going to write in this post. The funny thing is that what you don’t realize is the pause it took between the last sentence and this one. It was like 10 minutes. And you can thank plurk and twitter for that, not to mention I’m checking out new plug-ins for the blog, etc.
OK so another 15 just went by, phone calls this time.. Tomorrow I’m going to take my little brother to see “The Hulk.” (I’m a Big Brother, Big Sisters Volunteer) He is pretty excited to see it. This weekend seems jammed packed so hopefully my time management skills will be top notch.
Weekend to do list:
- Coach Soccer Practice
- “The Hulk” Movie
- Shopping for Anniversary Present for my lovely wife
- Work on the Mountain Bikes
- Network Consulting at a local business
I think I can pull this list off.. At least I hope so!
