We all have a preferred method of how we get around these days. Bike, Car, Truck, Boat, Bus, Plane, you name it. But what do most do when you get closer to retirement age?

Well a lot of people usually opt in to get a RV to cruise around the country. That would be fun wouldn’t it? Maybe you could check to see if there is a bus for sale and cruise around in a bus. Or just by car and make some mini trips.

Some may just spend their savings on some beach front property and just get a bike or motorcycle. Well I have a bunch of time before I reach these decisions, so for now I will continue to drive my SUV..

Early this morning I heard a heart crushing story. Christian music artist Steven Curtis Chapman lost his 5 year old daughter in an accident. The sad news is that the driver of the SUV was her teenage brother in their own driveway. They have not released his name, but I can’t imagine the feeling. It is so sad.

And the strange part.. East Dallas the other night, there was a similar accident. The mother went out to the store at night, so dad took his 2 kids out side and they laid down in the driveway to look at the stars. Well dad feel asleep and did not hear his wife approaching and she just came up in the driveway and ran over their 2 year old child who died.

It’s just sad and crazy. 2 accidental run-overs by family members within 2 days.

Prayers go out to both families during this time.

My wife has been talking about getting some new floor mats for her Honda cause the ones that she has now are pretty worn out. She has had this car for many years. So behind the scenes I wanted to see if I could find some online so we wouldn’t have to pay dealer prices for them.

So I did some net searching (google is my friend) and I ran across some awesome looking custom car mats and they have them for almost any car, truck or suv. These are sooooo cool. You can get them specialized with some custom embroidery just for you. I really think my wife will love these for her upcoming birthday dont you? (oops, I hope she doesn’t read this then, lol…)
